Veent App FAQs and Concerns

Concern: Do I need to use the Veent App?

Answer: No, Veent is preset with the most popular settings. Simply install your Veent fan and switch and Veent will start learning your room right away.

Concern: I shut off Veent and it automatically turned back on after one minute.

Answer: Veent will turn itself on again if condensation is still in the room. This built-in preventative measure ensures your room will dry.

Question: Can I hook up more than one device to Veent?

Answer: Yes, press and hold the main fan button (on the fan switch) for 8 seconds. The working light will pulse green, enter the App and make your desired configuration settings. Press the main fan button and exit the App.

Concern: My Night Light will not turn on.

Answer: Enter the App and select the Night Light tab, confirm that the Night Light icon is on and the toggle is enabled (to the right). Press the main fan button and exit the App.

Question: What is the difference between the Manual timer and the Minutes per hour timer?

Answer: The manual timer is used to turn off your fan after a designated amount of time (turned on by the switch). The Minutes per hour timer is used to set a designated amount of time (every hour) for your fan to turn on.

Question: Can I have multiple CFM settings?

Answer: Yes. The Air Flow and Manual timer settings both contain the same CFM/Sones level. The Minutes per hour timer setting has its own control for CFM and Sones.

Question: If I have more than one Veent fan in my home, am I be able to change the configuration settings at the same time?

Answer: No, each Veent fan must have separate configuration settings. However, the same device can be used to connect to multiple fans.

Question: How do I update my App?

Answer: When an update for Veent is available, a notification will appear on the Home Screen of the App. The user can also visit their devices App store to download the update.

Question: After I exit the App, Veent's working light continuous to blink, will the light shut off?

Answer: Yes, once you exit the App the working light will continue to blink for X minutes or until you reconnect to Veent through the App. If you do not reconnect, the working light will shut off after the X minutes.

Concern: Why is my fan coming on so frequently or infrequently?

Response: Try adjusting the Moisture Sensitivity in the App. Your fan is likely set to a high sensitivity level, which causes it to turn on frequently. Enter the App and move the icon towards the minus. If your fan isn't coming on when you need it, it may be set at a low sensitivity level. Enter the App and move the icon towards the plus.
